Following the shocking defeat of unappealing Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, there has been a power vacuum among liberals. Self-described socialist Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont has been attempting to fill that void with his impractical far-left ideas. White Supremacist
Part of Bernie’s strategy to rebuild support for liberal politics has been to paint President Donald Trump in the most negative light possible to an attempt to discredit him to voters in future elections. Sen. Sanders recently went so far as to unthinkably declare President Trump a “white supremacist.”
Bernie attacked President Trump for his response to the Puerto Rican hurricane disaster, despite the fact that the Governor of the tropical island praised Trump’s work, saying, “I have to say that the administration has responded to our petitions. FEMA, Brock Long, has been on the phone virtually all the time with me, checking out how things are going.”
Somehow, Sen. Sanders completely ignored this, and instead said on television about President Trump, “Given the president’s history on race, given the fact that he — a few months ago — said there were good people on both sides when neo-Nazis were marching in Charlottesville, yeah, I think we have a right to be suspect that he is treating the people in Puerto Rico in a different way than he has treated the people of Texas or Florida.”
What is also particularly idiotic is that the majority of people in Puerto Rico are Europeans of direct Spanish descent. His claim that Trump is being a “white supremacist” against white people makes no sense. Do you think Bernie needs to step down from the Senate?
