On his Fox News show Tuesday night, host tucker Carlson invited foreign policy hawk Ret. Lt. Col. Ralph Peters to debate how America should be handling various foreign powers, including Iraq, Iran, Syria, and others. When the conversation turned to Russia and Vladimir Putin, things got particularly tense, with Peters at one point comparing Carlson to a Nazi apologist and Carlson slamming Peters for his "insane" rhetoric. "Our president seems determined to do anything he can with the Russians, and the Russians hate us — Vladimir Putin hates us," said Peters. "He is malevolent and he is as close to pure evil as I can find. He's also brilliant. I don't understand why any American would want an alliance with Russia. We should be strengthening our alliance with democracies. Instead of trashi

Tucker: ‘Real Tragedy’ of Trump’s Tweets Is That They Distract From His Agenda

Tucker Carlson says the "real tragedy" of President Trump's tweets about MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski is that they're distracting from his agenda. In his opening monologue tonight, Tucker said the left is angry at Trump not because he's offensive or vulgar, but because he's a threat to them and their beliefs. "They hate Trump because he's a nationalist who says the interests of America and its people ought to come first," Tucker said. "That's fine. Let them hate him for that. The rest of the country loves it." He said the tweets, however, are an unhelpful and unnecessary diversion from Trump's agenda of helping the American middle class. "When the president talks about the people who elected him, he wins. When he talks about himself, the left does," Tucke

A young female Kurdish fighter laughed and shook it off after a bullet from an ISIS terrorist missed her head by a few inches, the video of the shocking incident shows. The sniper, a YPJ (Women’s Protection Units) member, took aim and shot through a window in the city of Raqqa, Syria, where the terrorist group has lost ground. A second later, a bullet hits the wall behind her head, and she is seen ducking down while smiling and sticking out her tongue. She chats with the person filming, laughing off her too-close call. "Kurdish women know no fear. Your average human being would be scared for life after being so close to death but she kept laughing," said the reporter who filmed the video, Hemze Hamza. The YPJ is an all-female military unit in the Syrian Democratic Union

Former Islamist Suing SPLC After Being Labeled ‘Extremist’ for Criticizing Jihadism

A former Islamic extremist is suing the Southern Poverty Law Center for defamation after they accused him of being a fame-seeker by exposing his past experiences with terror groups. The SPLC named Maajid Nawaz an "anti-Muslim extremist," saying his story is riddled with holes and has been dismissed by fellow jihadists, Trace Gallagher reported. The SPLC famously brought lawsuits against the Ku Klux Klan many years ago, but Nawaz said they have transformed into a left-wing political organization. Nawaz said he and his Quilliam Foundation expose and critique modern Islamic extremism and try to fight the phenomenon as moderate Muslims. He said it was ironic that they criticized him because he was once a liberal democrat on a political ticket in London. "They are ideological...

BREAKING: FBI Investigation Closes In – Bernie Sanders

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and his wife, Jane, have hired top-notch defense attorneys amid an FBI investigation probing Jane for potentially committing fraud. It was reported last month that the FBI is actively investigating Jane for potentially committing fraud during the time that she served as the president of Burlington College between 2004 and 2011. At the center of the investigation is a $10 million loan that Jane secured from People’s United Bank in 2010 in order to purchase 33 acres of land for the school. When applying for the loan, FBI investigators allege that Sanders distorted donor levels to make it appear the school was in a better financial position than it really was. More from The Hill: She claimed the college could count on $2.6 million in donations to pay

On his program tonight, Tucker Carlson faced off with an anti-gun activist who supports the Seattle gun tax, despite the fact that the city's murder rate has increased since the tax has been in place. Mark Glaze said the tax, which puts a $25 surcharge on every firearm sold in the city and up to five cents per round of ammunition, was intended to raise money to further study gun violence. "The whole point of all of this, the whole point of the studies is to reduce gun violence, and it doubled," Tucker countered. "And so, it's hard to take you or people like you seriously if you don't let the data drive your conclusions." He said the original claim was that this tax would make the city safer, declaring "it's a failure." Glaze said Seattle gun violence is rising because o

Sanders President Donald Trump’s pick for the Office of Management and Budget’s deputy director post was grilled not for his budgetary principles, but for his Christian faith by former Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders. During a hearing of the Senate Committee on the budget this week, Sanders essentially told nominee Russell Vought that Christians are bigoted and, therefore, should not serve in public office. Sanders pointed to an article Vought wrote in January 2016 about Dr. Larycia Hawkins, a political science professor at Wheaton College, Vought’s alma mater, who was placed on administrative leave after wearing a hijab to support Muslims. Hawkins had consulted with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) prior to donning the hijab. In a Facebook post

Tucker Carlson debated a national security analyst who said Attorney General Jeff Sessions must resign. Arash Aramesh said Sessions should resign because he allegedly worked with the help of the Russians to get President Trump elected. Appearing to refer to Sessions, Gen. Michael Flynn and others, Aramesh said the men "thought it would be a good idea to get help from a foreign adversary to get their guy elected because Hillary Clinton was a nasty woman." "They're going to pay for it," Aramesh said. Carlson said there was no proof that Sessions colluded with Russia, and dismissed Tuesday's hearing as a charade. "Do you have any evidence at all, or is this just something you heard on MSNBC?" he asked. Aramesh said there is "circumstantial evidenc...
