Melting fat with horseradish, honey and lemon

A healthy and slightly spicy mixture from horseradish, honey and lemon speeds up your metabolism, promoting the release of fat and excess water from the body. If you use this in combination with a moderate and healthy diet and some exercise, it will help you “melt away” the extra centimeters in critical areas.

In the diet, the root of the horseradish is the most used part, but its young less spicy leaves are also very delicious. Because of its composition ( vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus…), the horseradish belongs to gourmet but also medical ingredients. It is an indispensable additive in different specialties, especially in fatty food, because it helps in an easier digestion in the body. Horseradish cleans the body, it speeds up the metabolism, it reduces fatigue and it is highly recommended for people with diabetes. It stimulates the growth and development of beneficial bacteria in the intestinal flora.

The fresh root can be used throughout the whole year if it is immediately buried in moist sand or if it is kept in the cellar. If you have a larger sized root, you can grate up the necessary amount, and the rest of the root can be rolled up in aluminum foil and stored in the refrigerator in a closed box/jar.

In a well closed jar in the refrigerator, the horseradish can stand up to 3 weeks. If you want the grated horseradish to be fresh even after 3 weeks, you can mix it up with one spoon of sugar and 4 spoons of lemon juice or vinegar.

 

Needed ingredients

  • 125 grams of horseradish
  • 3 organic lemons
  • 3 spoons of honey

Preparation

Mix up in a blender or cut manually 125 grams of horseradish. Wash the 3 lemons, cut them in half and remove the seeds, together with the whole lemon ( including the rind but without the seeds) mix up the horseradish. In the mixture add 3 spoons of honey and mix it well. Keep the mixture in the refrigerator in a closed jar. Consume one tee spoon twice a day, with your meals. And certainly you need to be careful with your diet, and eat light food in small and frequent meals. This mixture will help you in the battle with the extra weight, but it most certainly doesn’t perform miracles if you do not try a little bit. Consume the mixture 3 weeks in a row, be active, eat healthy and just watch how your fat melts away.
